A list of relaxing driving and racing games

Not every racing game has to feel like Mario Kart1. While I can’t drive, I enjoy the gaming version of driving where the stakes aren’t high, crashes may be frequent but they’re never fatal, and you get checkpoints and you can customise your vehicles. I also enjoy general racing games outside of cars; especially the winter racing games with skiing and snowboarding.

So with that in mind, I’ve made a list of relaxing driving and racing games you might enjoy. Please note that this is not a complete list so I’ll be adding to it every so often.
