Last month, Gronya overcame her hate of Dragon Quest Heroes II for a charity event. The event in question was Spectrefest 2024, in support of Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, a volunteer-based charity focused on finding the cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis

In the video, Gronya explains her own experiences with Crohn’s and how she got to Level 99 in 2 weeks despite initially “hating” the game, and after having to start all over again for reasons you can relive from her Twitch stream. I watched a lot of the grinding videos and the Spectrefest stream live and they were lots of fun and almost made me want to play Dragon Quest Heroes II myself.
