NinDB: a database for first party Nintendo games

In an age of AI slop, human-focused databases are more important than ever and projects like NinDB are just what we need to preserve the past and present of first party Nintendo games.

Mark “Fryguy64” Kelly created NinDB back in June 2001 and has been updating it ever since (with breaks in between). You can navigate through Nintendo’s various consoles, game guides, cancelled games, and character cameos including Mario & Wario in Pokémon Red/Blue.

Because it’s run by one person, it’s not as deep and robust as other wikis with teams of contributors but it’s not meant to rival those sites but rather offer a concentrated and considered collection of information. If you want to find more, you look further as you should (and don’t ask ChatGPT!)
