In today’s episode of running random software on random hardware that doesn’t support it, Throaty Mumbo tried running Windows CE on the Nintendo 64. There’s a GitHub repo if you wanna check it out but as you’d expect, it wasn’t easy and it’s not advisable for anything other than a quirky oddity.
According to the repo, it boots fully on a real N64 and an EverDrive-64 X7 and you get a working desktop, taskbar, file browser, and some window management like dragging and closing.
