When a new Sean Seanson video drops, you also have to drop… everything you’re doing to watch it. His latest video is all about Capcom and every game they developed/published for the PS1. It clocks in at a leviathan 6:24:45 (yep, that’s 6 hours and 24 minutes) and runs through 80 games, from Gakkou no Kowai Uwasa: Hanako-san ga Kita!! to Capcom Vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro.
Of course, Capcom fans will be on the look out for favoured series such as Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Dino Crisis, and Mega Man, but there are a few hidden gems amongst the pack; the stragglers often overlooked but rounding off an amazing run of games from the 5th generation. Of those games, Breath of Fire IV stood out the most to me and I’ve actually started playing it. The art is gorgeous, the dialogue and characterisations are fun and interesting, and the soundtrack slaps. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
So if you have the time, you can watch it in one go or, like me, spread it over the course of 3 days, fall asleep while watching it, and rewind too far and rewatch it all again. And if you want to see the original version with mistakes (which I didn’t notice because I’m a PS1 luddite), you can watch that too and spot the difference I guess!
