If you watch Pokémon challenge videos, you’ll know they tend to follow a certain format. It could be a Nuzlocke or a monotype run or a solo run and there’ll be clips of matches, embellished moments of overcoming adversity, and sad music everywhere. Soda Crab spotted all of these tropes and originally made a parody video for HeartGold/SoulSilver but remade it for Pokémon Platinum with comical but expected results.
