A new report from Japanese website Yomiuri (written in Japanese) revealed that the 3,300 games in Japan’s National Diet Library had only been accessed 16 times in the last 2 years, due to an agreement with unnamed organizations to restrict access to research purposes only ‘to prevent harming the interests of software developers’
