Throaty Mumbo asked a very important question: can you load a Sega Mega Drive game off a vinyl record? Well it didn’t work with his setup but it might with a better one. It all boils down to converting audio signals to the necessary data that the Everdrive picks up and runs the game. It worked with the tape deck but vinyl—or at least what he used, a PO-80 5″ record cutter and player—didn’t hit the mark.
Maybe with better equipment since the inherent tech does work but obviously not worth the hassle.
