Golden Sun is a game I’ve been desperate to see a remake or port or any kind of game on the Switch. We have access to the first game via Switch Online but that’s not enough: we need more!
Until that day comes, we have the chance to play the game that started the series with a “Quality of Life” mod by JackitK. On the GitHub repo, he says that the mod implements the Quality-of-Life features used in Dawn of Djinn in a setting that better reflects the original game
. That includes alterations to retreating, the ability to avoid encounters, skipping the prologue (if you really don’t like it or want to get started right away), and use psynergy to solve puzzles without using PP.
