Last week, I played Mortal Kombat with my friend for the first time in about 3 years (stupid pandemic) and it was a blast (you can read about the last time in my blog about SEGA Genesis fighting games). I won some and lost a lot more but it was so much fun and I wanted to look up hints and tips to get better for the rematch. This led me to a behind the scenes video showing all the actors posing for the game’s fighting moves.
Mortal Kombat 3 was meant to use 3D graphics, which would have been a departure from the FMV style of the previous two games but they decided to stick with the sprites. While some characters made a comeback for Mortal Kombat 3, they were portrayed by new actors due to royalty disputes over their likenesses.
