The Nintendo 3DS online servers shut down yesterday, marking the end of an era for millions of gamers and a dilemma for Dragon Quest VII fans: what if you didn’t get the DLC? Well, fret not as DQ enthusiast Gronya has preserved that DLC and it’s available to download for free!
Gronya explained in her video how the process went, starting in a hospital bed, and ending with the preservation of a nearly-lost video game artifact (and shout out to Kiefer, IYKYK). You love to see it. I’m part way through a number of Dragon Quest games at the moment but when I get to VII, I’ll be sure to pick this up.
