Jonwayne has been sampling video game soundtracks in the last few videos on his YouTube channel and his most recent one features Ape Escape on the PS1. Rather than just take some music from the game, he also took some of the sound effects to season the beat. I’ve been sampling VGM for the past year so this was super inspiring for me and I look forward to hearing more game samples.
