Maxo Remixes 'Catch Me If You Can' From First Pokémon Movie

I still own VHS tapes, and one of my coveted videos is Pokémon: The First Movie. I saw it at the cinema and thoroughly enjoyed watching it back at home. The soundtrack was particularly catchy. The song “Catch Me If You Can”, co-written and performed by Angela Via, was one of my faves and to coincide with Pokémon’s 25th anniversary, Brooklyn’s Maxo “bombmixed” the track into something equally as feverish. The rework is as contagious as Pokérus and preserves the peppy sounds of the ’90s.
