It’d be criminal not to watch this short and smooth mashup featuring Michael Jackson and Nintendo’s purple cube of joy.
It’s been doing the rounds on Facebook and as a Michael Jackson fan (don’t act like you hadn’t noticed) and a lover of Nintendo, this is the perfect marriage if not a little ironic given MJ’s prior relationship with Sega.
Who would have known the Gamecube startup sound would fit so perfectly with Smooth Criminal, one of the biggest pop songs of the late 80s? The best thing about it is each sound amplifies the brilliance of the other which is how partnerships should be. Shame they never collaborated. Makes me want a Gamecube again.
