It looks like TheGammaSqueeze has got a version of Android 13 working on the TrimUI Smart Pro which I might try out: GammaOS Core is a minimal version of Android 13 TV (based on LineageOS) suited for low powered devices with chipsets such as the Rockchip RK3566 and with no touchscreen required.
TIL: Final Fantasy III had a planned WonderSwan Color port but it got cancelled
