While we wait imminently for the Nintendo Switch’s successor, Zac Builds decided to build his own Nintendo Switch OLED with a variety of improvements. But it wasn’t easy (because his builds never are and he’s only one person with one lab). One of the most difficult parts was getting an adequate battery that worked with his souped up specs and that took a bit of trial and error. Then there were some challenges with 3D printing a new dock that included a built in cooling fan.
Overall, though, he got the thing done and it’s an impressive-looking console.
