Macho Nacho has built the ultimate Super Nintendo called the Ultra SNES. It is comprised of:
- The SNES Super CIC mod, a SNES/Super Famicom mod that lets you play both PAL and NTSC games
- The custom SNES shell, to make it look cool and light up
- A dejitter kit, to stop the signal from jittering on newer TVs
By combining all three of these things, you get a SNES that plays all the games you can think of and in the best TV quality you can get. And the console looks amazing. Macho Nacho extolled its virtues in the video above and just off his recommendation, I’d say to give it a try if you’re confident in soldering and have the money to buy the parts.
