I love all these “new” unreleased games being unearthed or otherwise released years after they started. For this example, a PS1 game called Magic Castle, it was completed after 22 years.
Development of Magic Castle started in 1998 and after working on it for 8 months, the team of Japanese developers started pitching it to big names like Sony. Alas, nobody was interested and it was discarded. Until recently.
A member of the original team found the source code and decided to resurrect the Magic Castle project using emulators.
