Looks like we’re getting a sequel to the Mega Drive Mini. SEGA are set to release the Mega Drive Mini 2 with 50 pre-installed Mega CD and Mega Drive games. Japan will debut the mini console on 27th October while other regions await a release date.
Some of the pre-installed games include:
- Shining Force CD (Mega CD)
- Sonic CD (Mega CD)
- Virtua Racing (Mega Drive)
- Bonanza Bros (Mega Drive)
- Shining in the Darkness (Mega Drive)
- Thunder Force IV (Mega Drive)
The Mega Drive Mini 2 will cost ¥9,980 (about £60, although I’m holding out for a UK RRP of £69.99).
