I bought a Google Stadia a few weeks ago. I really just wanted the controller but it was cool to try a new platform that wasn’t related to Steam or Nintendo and it’s great to be able to play on Chromebooks, tablets, TVs, and Android smartphones but those aren’t the only places you can play Stadia.
Chrome Unboxed found some of the most ridiculous places that gamers played Stadia on including smartwatches, Tesla dashboard screens, and e-readers (yes, Stadia runs on e-ink albeit at a reduced frame rate). But there’s more:
- Fridges
- Cash registers
- Microwaves
- Gym treadmill displays
- The Nintendo 3DS XL
