PhiDX watched the 1998 Tekken 3 World Finals, held in the UK during the final episode of GamesMaster and it was one helluva trip. Naturally, there was a culture shock but we also got to see a young Ryan Hart before he really reached his final form (although he had a slew of first place finishes in 1998 alone).
I’ll admit none of this meant anything to me other than a nostalgic ride seeing GamesMaster which I watched sometimes as a kid. I played Tekken sparingly and only so I could be King but it was fun to watch nonetheless.
