With so many Pokémon available in every generation, it can be hard to decide what kind of team to build. But “the administrator” of AI Team Builder has created a fantastic tool to help you if you get stuck. Using neural networks and data from the strongest team builds in the meta, AI Team Builder generates teams with—or without—entering a starting Pokémon.
Example: if you wanted to build a team around your favourite Pokémon (say, Dachsbun), you can add that to the team and click “Build” and 5 full teams will be generated with their preferred held item and Tera type.
Given the popularity of Paradox Pokémon, you’ll find that most teams have at least 2 if you leave enough space for them. You can build teams for a variety of metas in Sword and Shield and Scarlet and Violet, in singles and doubles.
Of course this isn’t foolproof and you still have to figure out EVs and movesets but it’s a good place to start if you get stuck.
