Well, that kid whose uncle worked at Nintendo was right after all. New footage shows Luigi was in the Super Mario 64 beta, showcased at Space World 95. You can watch the full video where it was found a month ago and watch Hard4Games’s commentary on the topic above. It’s only a snippet of footage but we now know Luigi appeared at least in some small part in the cut multiplayer mode of Super Mario 64.
