Bandai is a toy manufacturer that was founded in 1950 and is now a subsidiary of Bandai Namco Holdings. From 1981 until 2001, Bandai produced video game consoles.. Its prescence in the video game industry started in the 80s when it made its own consoles, and published games for Nintendo. Notably, Bandai published Street Fighter II in the UK for the SNES.
Despite a disastrous collaboration with Apple (they made the Apple Pippin) and a failed merger with Sega in 1997, they merged with Namco in 2005 and continue to make toys as well as games series such as Tekken, Dragon Ball, Digimon, and more.
Mr. Talida, a video game toys archivist, has done the lord’s work and 3D scanned Bandai’s Super Mario Bros. 1 keshi set from 1986 and uploaded them for free on Archive.org. The upload also includes a 1200dpi scan of the gachapon mount cardboard.
