You might have heard a lot about Willis Gibson aka Blue Scuti. He’s a professional Tetris player who has made waves in the Tetris community, having finished 3rd at the Classic Tetris World Championship last year, where he placed third and, on 21st December, became the first person to ever “beat the game”.
But you might be thinking: one does not simply beat Tetris. Well, you can in that you have to reach level 157 and trigger the game’s killscreen. Until now, nobody had got that far which is why Blue Scuti’s gained so much attention. The video above explores his achievement and why it’s a huge deal.
