The Strong Museum in Rochester, N.Y., has announced their World Video Game Hall of Fame Class of 2024 finalists (try saying that 3 times fast!)

- Metroid
- Myst
- Neopets
- Resident Evil
- SimCity
- Tokimeki Memorial
- Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater
- Ultima
- You Don’t Know Jack
If you want your game to have a chance of making it, you’ll have to cast your vote via the Player’s Choice Ballot (and you can make one vote per day until voting closes on 21st March). The top-3 games from that vote will then join the top-3 chosen by members of the International Selection Advisory Committee.
If I had to pick my top-3, they’d be Neopets, SimCity, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater only because I played them the most. Asteroids is iconic and could have made it any other year. Same for Metroid, Myst, and Ultima. It’s gonna be a tough one this year.
The final inductees will be revealed on 9th May so get voting!
