Dragon Quest XI is one of the best titles to come from the DQ series since VIII for all the reasons you’d expect. But amongst the difficulty options is something so despicable and so macabre that only a true maverick would dare try it. I’m talking about Draconian Quests and that renegade in question is the one and only Gronya.
If you’ve never heard of Draconian Quests, they’re optional challenges you turn on at the start of a playthrough. There are 9 altogether and they add some strict restrictions to gameplay including No Shopping, No Armour, Reduced Experience from Easy Fights, and Party Wiped Out if Protagonist Perishes (if you have the Definitive Edition).
